These brushes are exclusive to Facepaint UK, the big set of 15 includes: Rounds:1 x no.0, 2 x no.4, 2 x no.5, 3 x no.6, Filberts: 1 x no.4, 1 x no.8, Petal Brushes: 1 x no.4, 2 x no.6, 1 x no.6 liner, 1 x no.8 flat. This is a great selection of brushes for the working painter chosen from what we know is useful! We also include a sample of daVinci soap to keep them tip top. At £58 a set, this might seem excessive, but good brushes don't come cheap, and this is really good value. (FREE HOLDERS OUT OF STOCK, SORRY!)

You will also find a great selection of books about facepainting which are always appreciated.

The new dvds from the true master Mark Reid are a bit of a must have at just £18 each. One is on facepainting, the other on body painting blue jeans. Mark has released even more, some on designs for boys, and one on painting corsets (on people) - with more to come we hope To find out more click here.

Carmel Bloxom and Rene Reiche's books Creative Facepainting (now called Funky Faces as well) and the long awaited book from the same creative team, Funky Faces, are both in the shop. They are brilliant value at £16.50 and offer loads of inspiration and design guidance. Facepaint-uk has provided an online English translation for Funky Faces from the German. It is mostly for the introduction which contains a useful analysis on the use of colour, and design techniques in face painting. The body of the book is large photographs with step by step information and a clear set of symbols so it is easy to follow what ever language you speak. Unlike most English books on facepainting these are not aimed solely at the children's market. It is so good to see our craft being taken seriously. We totally recommend these books for all facepainters, however experienced.

Still wondering what to buy the facepainter who has everything?
How about our daVinci soap in a groovy silver tin? Designed to clean and condition brushes, it also cleans paint and other strange stains from sponges, clothes, hair, the lot! A pack of Kolinsky sable brushes to look after would be a real treat. The new bodypainting book would be a treat for 'serious' painters, and a Ben Nye Lumiere Palette would be well received too!

Several thoughtful partners have booked a course at The London School of Facepainting for their delighted spice (plural of spouse?), or membership of this site will cut down on wrapping paper and be sure to please! We can send you a gift certificate for any classes booked so that there is something to see!

Talking of small packages, every facepainter needs a digital camera, the smaller the better, so that they actually take it with them to record all those magic moments and send in to Facepaint UK! We especially admire the Canon Ixus range.
If you want a bigger box to present as a present, what better than one of our new Aluminium cantilever cases? Perfect for someone starting out before their kit gets so big that they need wheels, or maybe even a truck!
