USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING A CLASS
The classes are held at Raoul, 34 Craven Road London W2 3QA unless stated otherwise.
You can book into a class directly in the shop or click on the link from this page. Most classes cost £90 incl. VAT. Classes run from 10.30am to 3.30pm with a short break for lunch. You can bring sandwiches or make use of one of the cafes close by.
  • Be prepared to paint and be painted.
  • Bring some cleansing wipes and a hand towel (and fresh make-up for yourself if you wear it).
  • Don't forget your camera as you are welcome to photograph your work and the demonstration faces. YOU CANNOT TAKE VIDEO AT THE CLASS. Please respect this.
  • We have all the face paints and equipment you will need available to use during the class.
  • You might like to bring your own brushes, if you have some, as it is best to practice with the equipment you plan to use. We do also have a full range of brushes for you to use or just try out.
  • There is a good range of products, books and magazines on sale at Raouls (you can pay with cheques or cash but not debit and credit cards). You can use our equipment and buy what you like on the day or online at Facepaint UK where you will find the same products.
  • Because facepaint-uk.com is so information rich and helpful (especially to beginner face painters) all students at the London School of Face Painting automatically have six months free Member access to facepaint-uk.com. We will register you when you have booked onto a course. You can also be listed in the Directory with a student icon, this offer is not indefinite, you need to take it up within 6 months of taking a course.

How to get there:
Parking is very difficult in central London and there is a 2hr time limit on the pay-by-phone metered bays nearby (some at Cleveland Square, and in Gloucester Terrace are 4hrs), so it is best to use public transport. However, it is not any longer in the Congestion Charge Zone.

Much easier by public transport! Buses to Paddington stop in Praed Street. Craven Road is the continuation of Praed Street, which runs past Paddington Mainline station and has the exits for Paddington tube station.
Raouls is close to the junction of Gloucester Terrace and Craven Road.  The street numbering can be confusing.
It is less than a 5 minute walk from the station to No.34 Craven Rd.

If the Central Line is better for you, you might like to get off at Lancaster Gate instead.
